AOCA builds dynamic, engaged, and inclusive membership which sustains the growth and reflects the values of the College.
AOCA develops the culture and leadership of the College’s Board and volunteer members to become strategic, innovative, and diverse.

Mission:
  • Engage with and support Osteopathic Medical Students, offering national leadership opportunities to enhance competitiveness in the residency match.
  • Oversee a national network of Anesthesiology Interest Groups (AIGs) at Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine.

  • Maintain ongoing tracking of student involvement and outcomes in anesthesiology, supporting AOCA's long-term strategic goals.

Leadership:
AOCA is now accepting applications for leadership positions on the 2025-2026 Medical Student Committee.

  • Vice-Chair – OMS-III as of Fall 2025
  • Secretary – OMS-II as of Fall 2025
  • Social Media Chair – OMS-I, II, or III as of Fall 2025

Note: Positions are based on your year beginning Fall 2025. For example, if you will be an OMS-III in September 2025, you are eligible to apply for Vice-Chair—even if you are currently an OMS-II.
